S.O.U.L. Ministry is a welcoming outreach ministry for adults with developmental disabilities, offering a safe and supportive place to grow in faith, build friendships, enjoy fellowship, and have fun together.

We gather every Thursday from 10:00–11:30 a.m. Our caring S.O.U.L. team provides a variety of structured, Christ-centered activities designed to encourage participation, creativity, friendship, and spiritual growth.

All programs are free of charge and are open to individuals and members of group homes throughout our community. Everyone is welcome!

What to Expect on Thursdays

Scripture, Song & Prayer
We begin upstairs in the church with a simple Scripture and song service, followed by an opportunity for everyone to share prayer requests.

Coffee, Snacks & Fellowship
We gather downstairs for coffee, goodies, conversation, and time to connect with friends.

Activities & Fun
Our activities vary throughout the year and may include:

• Bible Bingo with prizes
• Art activities led by Volunteers 
• Seasonal crafts connected to the church calendar
• Creative activities such as painting, cutting, gluing, and assembling
• Hands-on projects that encourage creativity and help develop fine motor skills

Craft activities are adapted to accommodate different abilities and use safe, non-toxic materials. Seasonal projects may include special activities such as jam making or Easter crafts, with careful attention given to allergies and individual needs.

Special Events

Throughout the year, S.O.U.L. may also offer special gatherings such as BBQs, visiting choirs, dance parties, holiday celebrations, Christmas potlucks, and other fun community events.

Looking Ahead

Our parish is currently exploring ways to expand S.O.U.L. and offer additional days throughout the week. We are excited about the possibilities and ask you to stay tuned for future updates!
